EBSD pattern

A typical, high quality, EBSD pattern obtain in a cubic crystal. Each bands is call a Kikuchi band, and represent a series of diffracted electron. Knowing the diffraction pattern of a crystal allows the determination of the mineral type, and the crystallographic orientation.
